The Zipbaits ZBL Fakie Dog Crazy Bee PP 50mm Floating Lure is a floating dog-walk style pencil for surface fishing when predators are looking upward and bait is being chased near the top.

The smaller/down-sized body is for matching tiny bait and pressured surface feeders.

It will not call fish from as far away as a big pencil, but it can turn follows into bites when fish are refusing larger plugs.

Use short downward twitches with slack line to get it sliding, then pause it when it reaches a likely strike point.

It is strongest around flats, river mouths, harbour lights, rock edges, bait schools, and calm pockets beside current.

It is not the right choice when fish are glued to bottom or refusing surface lures, but when they are willing to rise, the walking action gives you a lot of control.

TARGET SPECIES: sea bass, bass, trevally, queenfish, bluefish, peacock bass, and predators willing to attack bait on the surface.
