The Zipbaits Slide Swim Minnow 85 MDS Heavy Sinking Lure is a sinking sliding minnow for anglers who need a slimmer baitfish profile that can be worked below surface chop.

It is not a hard-diving plug; the value is in casting reach, controlled sink, and a natural side-to-side baitfish line.

Fish it with a steady retrieve first, then add twitches, pauses, or small sweeps when it crosses a current seam, rock edge, bait school, or shallow gutter.

Because it sinks, count it down only as far as the water allows and start the retrieve earlier around shallow reef or snaggy bottom.

It is strongest around estuary mouths, breakwalls, surf gutters, harbours, flats, and baitfish lanes where predators are feeding under the surface.

It is not the best topwater tool, but it gives more depth control and wind stability than a floating pencil.

TARGET SPECIES: sea bass, flathead, trevally, queenfish, bluefish, snapper, bass, and predators feeding on slim baitfish in shallow to mid-water.
