The Yo-Zuri Duel Hardcore Trout Heavy Flat 40S Sinking Lure is a heavy flat-sided trout minnow for current, distance, and fish holding below the surface.

The flat body gives hard flash on twitches, while the extra weight helps the lure hold its line in fast water or deeper pockets.

Cast across or slightly upstream, let it sink into the lane, then work it with short twitches and controlled winding.

The goal is a baitfish that flashes and loses balance in the current, not a lure ripped out of the strike zone too quickly.

It is strongest in rivers, streams, lake inlets, deeper runs, and rocky seams where trout or current-feeding predators need a compact lure that gets down fast.

It is less suited to ultra-shallow snaggy water where a floating lure gives more safety.
