The Yamashita Live Egi-O-K Squid Jig is a controlled-fall egi for squid that need time to approach and grab the jig.
It is especially useful when squid are present but not aggressively chasing a fast-moving search jig.
Lift it firmly to make the body dart, then give it a proper fall and pause.
The key is letting the jig sit in the squid zone long enough for a following squid to catch up.
Do not rush every cast back to your feet.
It is strongest around weed beds, reef edges, rocky pockets, and pressured squid grounds.
When current is stronger, pay attention to sink time and line angle so the jig does not drift above or below the productive layer.
TARGET SPECIES: squid, cuttlefish, and cephalopods around weed beds, reef pockets, harbour lights, rock edges, and current seams.
