The Xesta Metal Jig Baby Flare 80 grams is a compact flutter-style metal jig made for smaller bait situations and light jigging.
It gives more hang and flash than a narrow speed jig, making it useful when fish want something falling rather than only fleeing.
Work it with short lifts, half-pitches, and controlled slack so the jig can kick and flash on the drop.
A straight retrieve can still catch active fish, but the fall is where this style earns most of its bites.
It is strongest around inshore reefs, bait schools, harbour edges, flats, and light offshore marks where fish are feeding on compact bait.
If current is too heavy and you lose contact, move heavier or use a slimmer jig.
