The Valkein Spoon Twilight XF Level Ondine 17 grams Sinking Lure is a heavy trout/native spoon for distance, current, and deeper water where a small area spoon cannot stay in the lane.

The strength of a spoon is that it lets you control depth and speed easily, while giving fish flash and vibration without the bulk of a hardbait.

Start with a slow steady retrieve and count it down to different layers until you find where fish are tracking.

If trout are following but not eating, change speed slightly, pause for a half-second, or switch weight before assuming the colour is wrong.

It is strongest in ponds, streams, lake edges, and current seams where fish are feeding by sight or reacting to flutter.

The limitation is that a spoon needs the right retrieve speed: too fast and it blows out, too slow and it may lose the action.

TARGET SPECIES: native trout, salmon, char, sea trout, lake trout, perch, and fish feeding in deeper runs, lakes, or stronger current.

Unfortunately, we are unable to assist with damages that occur after the item has been used. If it’s a broken rod tip, you may contact us to check if we have a replacement available for purchase, or visit your local fishing shop for repairs.
