The blade helps fish find the bait in stained water, wind, current, or low light without forcing you to abandon soft plastics.
Rig it with a straight soft plastic and retrieve just fast enough for the blade to work.
You can slow roll it along bottom, swim it through bait, or pulse it around cover.
If the blade fouls with weed or line, clear it quickly because the flash is a major part of the presentation.
It is strongest around drains, flats, weed edges, harbour walls, pontoons, and bait schools where fish are tracking vibration and flash.
It is less subtle than a plain jig head, so in ultra-clear pressured water, tone down the speed or switch to a quieter head.
