The Shimano ZN-350T Cardiff Stream Flat 50HS Sinking is a trout/freshwater hardbait made for controlled work around current, edges, and small baitfish.

The role is not just to cover water blindly; it is to put a compact lure through the lane where fish are holding and give it the right speed change at the right moment.

Use steady winding to get the lure working, then mix in twitches, pauses, or rod-tip taps depending on how aggressive the fish are.

In fast water, keep enough line tension so it tracks; in slower pools, use pauses and softer inputs so it does not look unnatural.

It is strongest around seams, runs, rock pockets, bank edges, and stocked-water lanes where fish are feeding by sight.

It is not as subtle as a micro soft bait, so slow the retrieve and change angles when fish are following without hitting.
