Seafloor Control Metal Jig Messiah short 180 grams Silver

180g | Sinking

The Seafloor Control Metal Jig Messiah short is a compact slow-pitch metal jig made for controlled vertical work when fish are feeding around bottom, bait schools, or current breaks.

The shorter body gives it a punchier fall and easier handling than a long jig, which helps when fish want a compact meal instead of a long bait profile.

Work it with short pitch lifts, half turns, and controlled slack so the jig can kick and flash on the fall.

The bite often comes as the jig drops, not during the lift, so watch the line and stay ready for the jig to stop early or go light.

It is strongest from a boat over reef, rock, sand edges, and bait marks where you can control line angle.

If the current is too heavy and the jig scopes too far away, go heavier or change drift angle instead of forcing the same retrieve.

The more natural baitfish-style finish is best in clear to lightly stained water where predators are feeding by sight and tracking the lure before committing.

TARGET SPECIES: amberjack, kingfish, snapper, grouper, trevally, tuna-class juveniles, and offshore predators feeding around bait or bottom structure.
