Hard fluorocarbon leader material in 30m spools. No. 5 size corresponds to 24lb breaking strength with a diameter of 0.47mm. Designed for shore fishing where abrasion resistance and low visibility are critical. Hard fluorocarbon resists nicks from rocks and barnacles better than standard fluorocarbon, while maintaining near-invisibility underwater. Stiffer than monofilament but more abrasion-resistant than soft fluorocarbon leaders. Use for bottom fishing, rigging swimbaits, or as shock leaders for casting heavy lures.
