A deep-diving, high-speed sinking lure with a streamlined, flat profile for aggressive retrievals. The 50HS model indicates a moderate sink rate, making it ideal for mid-depth strikes. The streamlined shape creates a steady, erratic darting action when retrieved, mimicking wounded baitfish. Best fished with a steady retrieve or occasional pauses to let it sink before picking up speed again. The 013 size balances versatility for both freshwater and saltwater applications, though its design leans toward saltwater species that chase hard, fast-moving prey. The Cardiff series is known for its durability in rough conditions, with a robust construction that holds up to heavy strikes and snags. Use with medium-heavy to heavy tackle for optimal performance, particularly in clear or stained water where visibility is a factor. The sinking profile allows for quick depth changes, making it effective when fish are suspended or patrolling mid-water columns.
