The Faith 87 Jerk Bait is a floating jerkbait/minnow designed around twitching, pausing, and drawing reaction bites from fish tracking baitfish.

It is not just a straight-wind lure; the stop-start retrieve is where it earns bites.

Use short twitches to make it flash and kick, then pause it near cover, bait, or current seams.

Since it floats, the pause can let it rise slightly, which helps around shallow structure and gives following fish a chance to eat.

It is strongest around weed edges, rock walls, drains, flats, and clear-water feeding lanes.

If fish are deep or refusing to rise, a sinking minnow or vibration bait will reach them more directly.

The baitfish-style finish makes the most sense in clear to lightly stained water where fish are feeding by sight and matching the local bait profile matters more than raw visibility.

TARGET SPECIES: sea bass, flathead, trevally, snapper, bass, perch, and other lure-chasing predators.

Unfortunately, we are unable to assist with damages that occur after the item has been used. If it’s a broken rod tip, you may contact us to check if we have a replacement available for purchase, or visit your local fishing shop for repairs.
