The Rapala Skitter Prop is a floating topwater bait built to leave a clear commotion trail.

It gives a different surface signal from a normal popper, making it useful when fish are tracking movement and sound across the top.

Retrieve it in short bursts, steady pulls, or twitch-pause sequences so the lure throws surface disturbance without racing out of the strike zone.

The pause is important because following fish often eat once the lure looks catchable.

It is strongest in low light, wind lanes, shallow bait activity, and around cover where fish can pin prey against the surface.

If fish are deep or the water is dead calm and pressured, a quieter minnow may be better.

TARGET SPECIES: bass, sea bass, trevally, queenfish, bluefish, snakehead, peacock bass, and predators willing to hit near the surface.
