Major Craft Metal Jig Metal Dragon MDGN-200 grams 055

200g | Sinking | Finish: 055

The Metal Jig Metal Dragon MDGN in 200g is a heavy offshore metal jig built for depth, current, and bigger predators.

This is not a light shore jig; it is meant to get down quickly, stay connected, and give fish a strong metal profile around deep bait, reef, and structure.

Work it with a one-pitch rhythm, long lifts, or slower bottom-oriented movements depending on current and how the marks are holding.

When fish are active, a stronger lift can trigger them; when they are tight to bottom, slower lifts and cleaner drops usually keep the jig in the strike window longer.

It is strongest from a boat over deep reefs, ledges, wrecks, current lines, and bait schools where line angle matters.

If the jig scopes too far away, increase weight or adjust drift; if the fish are feeding on tiny bait, a smaller tungsten or compact jig may be a better match.

TARGET SPECIES: amberjack, kingfish, tuna-class juveniles, grouper, snapper, trevally, cod, and offshore predators holding around deep bait or structure.
