The Metal Jig First Jig FJTJ in 150g is a vertical metal jig that fits tachiuo/hairtail-style and deeper bait-school work.

It is made for dropping into a marked layer and working the lure through fish rather than blindly casting across shallow water.

Use controlled lifts, pauses, and fall timing.

Hairtail and other vertical-feeding predators often strike when the jig slows, stalls, or drops, so a clean fall can matter more than ripping the lure as fast as possible.

It is strongest from boat or vertical structure when fish are holding in a defined depth band.

The limitation is that it needs enough water and line angle control to work properly; in shallow fast snag country, a different jig style is safer.

TARGET SPECIES: hairtail/tachiuo, mackerel, seabass, snapper, trevally, and predators feeding around vertical bait schools or deeper lanes.
