The Maggy Gara Monster GT 170g Pencil Lure is a floating topwater pencil made for walking, sliding, and calling fish up when they are feeding near the surface. The design has no diving lip, so the action comes from rod rhythm, slack line, and retrieve speed.
Use short downward rod taps to walk it side to side, then pause it beside bait, current seams, weed holes, or shallow cover.
When fish are aggressive, speed the cadence up.
When they follow without eating, slow it down and give them a longer pause.
It is strongest over flats, rock edges, river mouths, shallow bait schools, and low-light feeding windows.
It is not the right choice when fish are holding deep or refusing to rise.
