The Jackson Meteora 52 Sinking Lure is a sinking flat-sided trout/stream minnow made for current, twitching, and quick side flash.
The flat body is the important part: it catches light on every twitch and gives fish a strong baitfish signal without needing a bulky lure.
Cast across or slightly upstream, let it sink into the lane, then work it with short twitches and controlled winding.
The lure should look like a small baitfish being pushed by current and losing balance, not something ripped blindly every cast.
It is strongest in runs, seams, pockets, drains, rocky edges, and small baitfish lanes where fish hold behind cover.
Around shallow snags, start the retrieve early and keep the lure above bottom.
TARGET SPECIES: trout, chub, perch, smallmouth bass, sea-run trout, light sea bass, and current-feeding predators holding in streams, rivers, and estuary edges.
