The Jackson Athlete 13 MDS is a mid-depth sinking shore minnow built for reaching fish that are not sitting right on top.

It suits surf edges, river mouths, breakwalls, and current lines where a shallow runner passes over the bite zone.

Count it down, then retrieve with steady winding and occasional twitches.

The mid-depth role is about holding a lane: too fast and it rides out of the zone; too slow and it can drop into bottom structure.

It is strongest when bait is below the surface or when surface chop makes floating minnows unstable.

Around shallow reef or snaggy edges, start the retrieve early and keep the rod angle high.

TARGET SPECIES: sea bass, flatfish, bluefish, trevally, queenfish, snapper, and shore-based predators feeding on baitfish.

Unfortunately, we are unable to assist with damages that occur after the item has been used. If it’s a broken rod tip, you may contact us to check if we have a replacement available for purchase, or visit your local fishing shop for repairs.
