The Tsukumo 56 is a sinking inshore minnow for anglers who need a slim baitfish lure that can be counted down and worked under surface disturbance.
It is more controlled than a floating shallow runner when wind, chop, or current pushes bait below the top.
Fish it with steady retrieves, small twitches, and pauses.
Let it reach the level where fish are feeding, then keep it tracking through the lane instead of dragging it too fast above them.
It is strongest around river mouths, harbour walls, drains, rock wash, and bait schools where sea bass, flatfish, and small pelagics feed below the surface.
It is not the safest lure to dead-stop around very shallow rock, because it sinks.
