The Slick Bait 120 is a floating pencil/glide style bait for covering surface and near-surface lanes.

It is useful when you want a long baitfish profile that can be walked, swept, or paused instead of diving down.

Use rod taps and slack line to make it slide, or sweep it more slowly when fish are following.

The goal is to look like a wounded baitfish travelling high in the water.

It is strongest over flats, weed edges, points, and bait schools.

It is not the best lure for dirty deep water; it shines when predators are looking up.

The brighter or flashier finish is useful when the water has stain, the light is low, or the lure needs to stand out around current, cover, or surface disturbance.

In very clear calm water, slow the retrieve down or switch to a more natural finish if fish are only following.

TARGET SPECIES: bass, peacock bass, snakehead, sea bass, trevally, queenfish, bluefish, and predators feeding near the surface.
