The Rerange 85F is a jerkbait minnow built around the twitch-and-pause retrieve.
It is not just a straight-wind lure; the value comes from darting movement, flash, and the pause that gives following fish time to commit.
Use two or three sharp twitches, then stop it.
In warmer water or active feeding, keep the pause shorter and the cadence sharper.
In clear water, cold water, or pressured fish situations, make the pause longer so the lure stays in the strike zone.
It is strongest along weed edges, rock walls, drains, points, flats, bridge shade, and baitfish lanes.
It is not the best lure when fish are buried deep on bottom; use it when predators are watching baitfish and willing to hit on the stop.
The brighter or UV/glow-leaning finish is useful when visibility matters: stained water, low light, deeper lanes, whitewash, or reaction bites where fish need a stronger target to find quickly.
TARGET SPECIES: bass, sea bass, flathead, perch, trout, pike, and predators that follow baitfish before committing on a pause.
