The Mute Ball Pencil 38F is a small floating pencil bait for finesse surface fishing.

It is not about huge splash; it is about giving fish a compact target that can walk, pause, and sit naturally in the top layer.

Use short rod taps with slack line to make it walk or slide, then pause beside cover, current edges, or bait movement.

Small surface lures often get eaten after the pause, especially when fish are following but not smashing aggressively.

It is strongest in calm water, ponds, canals, harbours, drains, and shallow banks where predators are feeding near the surface.

It will not call fish from as far away as a large popper, but it is far less intimidating in clear, pressured water.

The brighter or UV/glow-leaning finish is useful when visibility matters: stained water, low light, deeper lanes, whitewash, or reaction bites where fish need a stronger target to find quickly.
