The Metal Jig Flag Trap Leaf is a leaf-shaped metal jig made to show more flutter and hang time than a narrow speed jig.
In 40g, it is useful when fish are present but not committing to a straight, fast fall.
Lift it, then let it fall on controlled slack so the body can flash and flutter.
The wider leaf action gives predators a longer look, especially around mid-water bait, surf gutters, reef edges, and slower bite windows.
It is strongest when the fall is the trigger.
It is not the best option when current is ripping hard and you need a narrow jig to cut down quickly.
The brighter or glow-accented finish is useful when visibility matters: low light, deeper water, stained water, or when fish need to find the jig quickly during a fast drop.
In clear shallow water, a more natural silver or baitfish finish may look less intrusive.
