The Metal Jig Big Backer Slide Stick is a sliding casting metal jig designed to show more side movement than a simple straight-fall metal.

In 40g, it makes sense when fish are following standard fast jigs but need a wider, more wounded-looking fall to commit.

Work it with lifts and controlled slack so the lure can slide and flash.

Too much tension kills the slide; too much slack makes it hard to feel bites.

Keep just enough contact to see the line stop or tick on the drop.

It is strongest around bait schools, surf channels, rock edges, and shore-casting zones where you want metal-jig distance with a more obvious fall action.

It is less suitable when current is too strong to control the slide.

The brighter or glow-accented finish is useful when visibility matters: low light, deeper water, stained water, or when fish need to find the jig quickly during a fast drop.

In clear shallow water, a more natural silver or baitfish finish may look less intrusive.

TARGET SPECIES: mackerel, trevally, sea bass, flatfish, queenfish, bluefish, bonito, snapper, and shore-based predators chasing compact baitfish.
