In 120g, it gives more reach and slide than a short compact jig, making it useful when predators are tracking slim bait rather than pinning tiny prey.
Fish it with longer lifts, one-pitch rhythm, or a lift-and-fall cadence depending on depth and current.
The semi-long body needs room to move, so give it enough line angle and slack to slide naturally without losing complete contact.
It is strongest around offshore marks, bait schools, reef edges, and bluewater current where amberjack, kingfish, tuna-class juveniles, and trevally are feeding.
It is not the best tiny-bait finesse choice; use it when the forage profile is longer and fish can move for the lure.
The warm gold/red finish gives more flash and contrast than a plain baitfish colour.
It is useful around dirty water, cloudy skies, deep jigging lanes, or when fish respond to a stronger visual trigger.
