The Metal Jig Bambluz Semi Long is a semi-long offshore jig for matching longer baitfish and working bigger fish in current.
In 100g, it gives more reach and slide than a short compact jig, making it useful when predators are tracking slim bait rather than pinning tiny prey.
Fish it with longer lifts, one-pitch rhythm, or a lift-and-fall cadence depending on depth and current.
The semi-long body needs room to move, so give it enough line angle and slack to slide naturally without losing complete contact.
It is strongest around offshore marks, bait schools, reef edges, and bluewater current where amberjack, kingfish, tuna-class juveniles, and trevally are feeding.
It is not the best tiny-bait finesse choice; use it when the forage profile is longer and fish can move for the lure.
The brighter/glow finish is useful when visibility matters: low light, deeper water, stained water, or when fish need a stronger target during a fast fall.
In very clear shallow water, a quieter silver or baitfish finish may look more natural.
TARGET SPECIES: amberjack, kingfish/yellowtail, trevally, snapper, grouper, tuna-class juveniles, bonito, and offshore predators feeding around bait and structure.
