Jackall Metal Jig Anchovy Type 2 Slow Slide 100 grams Dragon Chart

100g | Sinking

The Metal Jig Anchovy Type 2 Slow Slide is a slow-slide metal jig for fish that need a longer look on the fall.

In 100g, it is useful when predators are present but not reacting to a fast straight drop or aggressive vertical speed.

The sliding fall is the bite trigger.

Lift the rod to load the jig, then give it enough controlled slack to slide and flash sideways.

Keep your eyes on the line because the bite may be a stop, tick, or sudden sideways movement rather than a heavy strike.

Use it around bait schools, reef edges, deeper marks, and days when fish are following but not chasing.

It is not the best tool when current is too strong to keep contact; in that case, a more compact standard jig may fish cleaner.

The brighter/glow finish is useful when visibility matters: low light, deeper water, stained water, or when fish need a stronger target during a fast fall.

In very clear shallow water, a quieter silver or baitfish finish may look more natural.

TARGET SPECIES: hairtail, snapper, grouper, amberjack, trevally, kingfish/yellowtail, tuna-class juveniles, and offshore predators feeding on vertical bait.
