The Chubby 38F Floating Lure is a compact crankbait/shad plug designed to cover shallow-to-mid water with a built-in wobble and a clear baitfish or small-forage profile.

This is the kind of lure you throw when you want the body and bill to do most of the action work for you.

A steady retrieve is the starting point, but the better bites often come when the lure touches cover, changes direction, or pauses.

Run it along weed edges, rock, timber, banks, drains, or bridge shade, then let it deflect instead of swimming in a perfect straight line all the way back.

It is strongest when fish are relating to cover or baitfish lanes and will react to a crankbait passing close.

It is not a deep bottom lure unless the model is built to reach that lane, so choose the running depth based on where fish are holding.

The brighter or higher-contrast finish is useful when visibility matters: stained water, low light, surface chop, fast retrieves, or reaction bites where fish do not get a long look.
