The Somari 90 Sinking Lure is a sinking shallow minnow for keeping a lure just under the surface without making topwater noise.
It is the type of bait to use when fish are feeding high but do not want to break the surface.
Use a steady retrieve through current lines, drains, harbour lights, and bait schools, then add brief pauses as the lure crosses the strike zone.
The sinking body keeps it connected under chop and lets you count it down slightly when fish are sitting lower.
It is strongest in shallow estuaries, surf edges, canals, and rock wash where predators are tracking slim bait.
It is not a deep diver; if fish are sitting near bottom, go to a vibration bait, metal jig, or deeper minnow.
TARGET SPECIES: sea bass, flatfish, trevally, bluefish, queenfish, snapper, and shore predators feeding around bait, current, surf, and rock edges.
