The Sobat 80 Sinking Lure is a sinking lipless minnow that gives you a slim baitfish profile without a diving bill forcing one fixed depth.
It is useful when you want to control running level through retrieve speed and countdown rather than rely on a floating lure.
Slow retrieves keep it more subtle, while faster retrieves give more flash and a stronger baitfish kick.
Add pauses or short rod movements when fish follow, because the change in speed often turns a chase into a bite.
It is strongest in bays, estuaries, harbour edges, drains, and current seams where predators are feeding on small bait just under the surface.
It is not the best choice for dragging bottom or fishing heavy snag cover.
TARGET SPECIES: sea bass, flatfish, trevally, bluefish, queenfish, snapper, and shore predators feeding around bait, current, surf, and rock edges.
