The Metal Jig Gun Zou 40 grams is a compact casting metal jig built for distance, quick sink rate, and a small baitfish profile.

It is the kind of lure you reach for when fish are feeding out of normal plug range or sitting below surface activity.

Use a fast straight retrieve when pelagics are chasing, or count it down and work it with short lifts and controlled falls when fish are lower in the water.

The fall is not dead time; a lot of hits come when the jig flashes and drops after a lift.

It is strongest from beaches, piers, breakwalls, rock platforms, and open shorelines where casting distance matters.

It is not a slow snag-proof lure for dragging bottom, so keep it moving and choose weight based on depth, wind, and current.
