Ima Gyodo Heavy Surfer 90 Sinking Lure Constant Guigo

Sinking | Sinking shallow-running pencil / minnow

The Ima Gyodo Heavy Surfer 90 Sinking Lure Constant Guigo is a sinking shallow-running inshore lure for working the upper water column when fish are feeding below the surface but not fully committing to topwater.

It gives you more depth control than a floating pencil while still keeping a baitfish profile high in the zone.

Use a steady retrieve to search, then add pauses or small speed changes when fish are following.

Because it sinks, you can count it down under chop or current, but around shallow reef and rock you need to start the retrieve before it digs into trouble.

It is strongest around estuaries, river mouths, surf edges, harbour walls, flats, and bait schools.

It is not the right lure if fish are holding hard on bottom; it is for predators feeding high to mid-water.

Gold or warmer flash is useful around tannin, cloud cover, low sun, and water with a little colour because it shows up without needing an oversized lure.

TARGET SPECIES: sea bass, flathead, trevally, queenfish, snapper, bluefish, and inshore predators feeding around bait, current, and shallow structure.
