The Ataru 70S Sinking Lure is a sinking baitfish-style lure for controlled subsurface work.
It is useful when fish are feeding below the surface or when wind and current make floating lures ride too high.
Count it down to the lane you want, then use steady retrieves, twitches, or pauses depending on fish mood.
The sinking setup gives depth control, but around shallow rock or weed you need to start the retrieve early and stay connected.
It is strongest around current seams, drains, harbour walls, flats, surf gutters, and bait schools where predators are tracking bait under the top layer.
It is less forgiving than a floating lure in heavy snags.
