Duo Spearhead Ryuki 70S Sinking Lure CCC0709
70mm | Sinking
The Spearhead Ryuki 70S Sinking Lure is a 70mm Ryuki minnow built around the kind of current work where a normal round-bodied lure can look lazy or lose control.
The flat-sided body is the important part: it gives a sharp flash on twitches and lets the lure bite into flow instead of just rolling around.
Cast across or slightly upstream, let it sink into the lane, then work it with short twitches, pauses, and steady winding.
The lure should dart and flash without being overworked; too much rod movement can pull it out of the productive seam before a fish has time to eat.
It is strongest in streams, rivers, drains, estuary edges, and rocky current where predators hold behind cover and react to a small baitfish passing close.
It is not the best tool for ultra-slow dead-sticking or fishing right on the bottom; use it when fish will move for a twitching minnow.
TARGET SPECIES: larger trout, sea trout, salmon parr feeders, bass, perch, chub, smallmouth, and predators holding in bigger runs, pools, and estuary edges.
