Duo Spearhead Ryuki 70S Awabi Sinking Lure DNH4042

70mm | Sinking

The Spearhead Ryuki 70S Awabi Sinking Lure is a premium/tuned Ryuki variant for anglers who want the classic sinking flat-sided minnow action with a more specialised finish or setup.

The job is still the same: get into current, flash hard on twitches, and look like a small baitfish losing control.

Fish it with short, crisp twitches rather than long sweeping pulls.

A few turns of the handle to regain line, another twitch, then a controlled drift will usually look more natural than ripping it non-stop through the lane.

It is strongest in clear water, defined current seams, pocket water, and sight-feeding situations where small differences in flash and pause timing matter.

If the water is dirty or fish are feeding by vibration more than sight, a louder or brighter lure may be easier for them to find.

The Awabi finish is useful when you want natural shell-like flash rather than a loud painted reaction colour.

It makes the most sense in clear water, sunlight, and pressured runs where fish are still feeding by sight but need a small flash cue to commit.

TARGET SPECIES: larger trout, sea trout, salmon parr feeders, bass, perch, chub, smallmouth, and predators holding in bigger runs, pools, and estuary edges.
