The Rough Trail Fumble 230F is a large floating diving-pencil style plug for working the surface and just below it.

It gives you more control than a simple straight-wind lure because the action comes from rod input, sweeps, pauses, and changes in tempo.

Long sweeps make it dig and slide, while pauses let it rise back and hang where a following fish can close the gap.

That stop-start rhythm is useful when big predators are tracking bait but not committing to fast-moving surface plugs.
