The Duo Drag Metal Cast Slow SLJ is a casting jig for anglers who want more fall time than a normal slim metal.
This 40g version is useful when fish are not smashing fast retrieves but will eat a lure that flashes and stalls on the drop.
The slower fall is the main point.
Instead of racing straight back to you, the jig gives predators a longer look during the pause, which is valuable around bait schools, reef edges and pressured water where fish follow but do not always commit.
Cast it out, let it sink to the depth you want, then work it with short lifts, half-pitches and controlled slack.
