Stronger rod pulls make a bigger splash when the water has chop or when fish are actively chasing.
At 65mm and 10g, it is a compact surface search bait, not just a tiny finesse lure.
It can be fished slowly over a zone or moved faster when you need to locate active fish.
The finish should be chosen by matching it to the water rather than assuming one colour works everywhere.
Use subtle natural colours in clear water, brighter or higher-contrast colours in dirty water, and darker silhouettes when fish are tracking shape more than detail.
Its limitation is that it needs fish willing to look upward.
If bites are coming deeper or fish are only tracking subsurface bait, a shallow minnow, crank, or soft plastic will usually be more efficient.
