Deps Glide Head Spinnerbait 3/8 oz 24
3/8 oz | Sinking | Spinnerbait
This is a spinnerbait built for covering awkward water where a normal hard lure hangs up too easily.
The blade gives flash and vibration, while the skirt adds bulk and pulse, so the lure can be slow-rolled through weed edges, timber, drains, laydowns, and stained-water lanes without needing a perfect open-water path.
The useful part of a spinnerbait is that it keeps fishing even when the water is messy.
Run it just fast enough to feel the blade working, then let it bump cover, tick grass, or climb through structure.
Those little changes in pressure and direction are often what make an ambush fish eat.
At 3/8 oz, it is best used when you want contact and control rather than a tiny finesse presentation.
It can be counted down, slow-rolled mid-water, or burned higher when fish are active.
If the fish are only following, slow the retrieve and let the skirt breathe around cover.
The finish should be chosen by matching it to the water rather than assuming one colour works everywhere.
Use subtle natural colours in clear water, brighter or higher-contrast colours in dirty water, and darker silhouettes when fish are tracking shape more than detail.
Its limitation is subtlety.
In ultra-clear water with pressured fish, the blade and skirt can be too much.
It shines when fish are aggressive, visibility is reduced, or you need a lure that can come through cover and still call fish from a distance.
TARGET SPECIES: bass, snakehead, peacock bass, barramundi, mangrove jack, and other ambush predators holding around weed, timber, edges, or stained water.
