This is a floating surface wakebait made for calling fish up, not quietly sneaking through the water.
The body pushes water, leaves a visible surface track, and gives predators something easy to locate when they are hunting shallow or looking upward around cover.
Fish it with a steady retrieve when you want a consistent wake across flats, weed edges, rock walls, timber, or shallow points.
Slow it down when fish are following but not committing, because a surface lure that stays in their face often gets eaten after the first look.
You can also add pauses beside cover to make it look like a baitfish or small surface prey that has lost direction.
The main strength is drawing power.
It is useful in low light, overcast conditions, dirty edges, around bait, or anywhere a louder topwater/wake presentation can pull fish from a distance.
The limitation is that it is not subtle.
In dead-calm, ultra-clear water with pressured fish, a quieter pencil, minnow, or finesse bait may get more bites.
Use it when you want the lure to announce itself and force a reaction rather than blend in.
TARGET SPECIES: bass, snakehead, seabass, barramundi, trevally, queenfish, and surface-feeding predators that react to commotion.
