Bassday LOGS 140S Sinking Lure MH-440

140mm | Sinking | minnow | MH-440

The LOGS 140S Sinking Lure is a sinking long minnow made for covering distance and fishing through open water where predators are tracking full-sized baitfish.

It is not a tiny finesse plug; it gives you a longer bait profile and a steady swimming target when fish are chasing sardines, mullet, garfish, or other slim bait.

The sinking body matters because you can count it down and choose the layer you want to fish instead of being locked into the very top.

Start retrieving quickly if fish are high and aggressive, or let it sink a little before winding when bites are coming under the surface.

A steady retrieve gives it a clean baitfish swim; rod sweeps or sharp twitches make it break rhythm like a baitfish trying to escape.

Use it along beaches, harbour walls, current lines, river mouths, and rock edges when you need more range than a small minnow can offer.

The limitation is that a 140mm sinking plug is not ideal over very shallow snaggy ground unless you keep the rod high and stay in control of the sink time.

The MH-440 finish should be picked for visibility rather than treated as a magic colour.

Run cleaner, more natural-looking finishes in clear water and decent light; move to stronger flash, glow, or brighter contrast when the water is stained, the sky is dark, or fish need help finding the lure.

If the colour is too loud for calm clear water, drop to a subtler pattern before changing the whole lure style.

TARGET SPECIES: sea bass, flatfish, snapper, trevally, bluefish, bass, and other predators hunting baitfish.
