Singapore is home to a large community of anglers and fishing enthusiasts. With its great waters and scenic fishing spots, it is no doubt that Singapore attracts many anglers from around the globe. Every year, fishing communities host fishing events in Singapore for locals and tourists.

We’ve got a list of these fishing events and competitions that you shouldn’t miss.

Pro Pond Tag Event

D’Best Fishing usually hosts the Pro Pond Tag Event. It is a one-day event where anglers can win red envelopes containing cash prizes based on the weight or tags of their catch. This year’s Pro Pond Tag Event was held at Pasir Ris in Singapore.

Luring by the Bay

This was the largest lure fishing competition in Singapore this year. We partnered with Hardcore Sports Angling Singapore to organise the event. It was held at Marina Reservoir and offered prestigious prizes. This year’s Luring by the Bay took place on December 14, 2025.

RSYC Fishing Tournament

The recently concluded RSYC Fishing Tournament was hosted by the Republic of Singapore Yacht Club. Aboard twenty-eight boats, the participating anglers had a top catch of more than 10kg. This event happens every year, so be sure to tune in for next year’s tournament.

Do your products come with a warranty?

We stand behind all the products we sell. We advice all our customers to check their purchases once they receive them. If there is an obvious defect in your product , we will replace or refund it for you. Please keep your warranty card if any that comes with your purchase for rods and reels. Can I cancel my order after placing it?

Yes, cancellations are possible only if your order has not yet been shipped. Please contact our customer service team as soon as possible.

Do note that we operate from Asia and receive emails from customers worldwide—there may be a delay in response due to time zone differences. All cancellations are subject to availability and status of your order at the time of request.

What should I do if my rod or reel arrives damaged?

Please inspect your rod or reel immediately upon receiving it.

If the item is damaged during transit, contact us right away with clear photos of:

The damaged item
The packaging box and envelope it came in

We’ll assess the situation and offer a solution.

Unfortunately, we are unable to assist with damages that occur after the item has been used. If it’s a broken rod tip, you may contact us to check if we have a replacement available for purchase, or visit your local fishing shop for repairs.

Why did I receive an email saying my item is out of stock?

While we do our best to keep listings accurate, some inventory is managed manually, so occasional mismatches can occur.

If your item is out of stock, you may:

Swap for a different item of equal value
Choose a different size or color
Request a full refund

Can I return my order after receiving it?

Yes, returns are accepted within 7 days if the item is unused and in its original, saleable packaging.

You may:

Exchange for items of the same value Request a refund

Note: Return shipping costs, taxes, and duties are borne by the buyer. We’ll process replacements or refunds only after inspecting the returned goods.

If the return is due to our error, we’ll cover all associated costs.
